For two days from June 9 to June 10, 2023, the Ouchi Laboratory conducted laboratory tours with presentations on the smelting, recycling, and related processes of non-ferrous, precious, and rare metals at the UTokyo Komaba Campus Research Open House 2023. Graduate students were on hand to explain these processes to visitors. The laboratory also featured demonstrations of electroless plating, a process that captivated visitors with its bubble-generating film deposition reaction.
