On October 15, 2026, Professor Magnus Burman from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden, visited the Ouchi Laboratory at Waseda University.

During his visit, Professor Burman toured the Ouchi Laboratory, the Tokoro Laboratory in the Department of Resources and Environmental Engineering, and the Smart Energy System Innovation Center.

Following the laboratory tours, a research meeting was held in the Senior Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Science and Engineering. The meeting was attended by Professor Chiharu Tokoro (Department of Resources and Environmental Engineering), Professor Toshiyuki Momma (Department of Applied Chemistry), Professor Shinichi Fukushige (Department of Industrial and Management Systems Engineering), Associate Professor Manabu Inuzuka (Waseda Center for a Carbon Neutral Society), and Associate Professor Takanari Ouchi.

The participants exchanged information on their respective research and educational activities and discussed possibilities for future collaboration.
